Today in class my group and I went location scouting for locations for our film. We already knew we are going to film the bulk of our film at the hiking trail (Photo 2) near school, but we wanted to find the spot within the trail where we can film. We found two possible locations, the first one, below labeled as Photo 1, is an opening which is ideal of our film. The only concern we have is that from certain angles you can see the fence, which doesn't fit the theme of a western film, and the grass is very vibrant and green there, which it wasn't like in the Old American West. Another spot which has less grass and no fencing or any modern instalments around, is further up the trail. During class we didn't have time to go up there and look at it, but a member of my group as been there before and is going again to check it out tomorrow. We will use either of these locations for filming the major parts of our film. There are a couple scenes located inside a room, which we are going to film at school, but the rest of the scenes will be filmed at the hiking trail.
